City of Crystal Falls

We are your neighbors.   We are a mix of locally owned, independent businesses who live in small town America. Strong communities require a healthy business base, and businesses need strong community support. The Crystal Falls Business Association (CFBA)  meet in the second week of the month. See the 'Members' page for the next meeting date.

The city of Crystal Falls has a population of less than 1,500 people with approximately 1,700 in the township, but it's natural beauty and friendly people makes it a relaxing place to live. A frequently asked question by visitors is "Where is the falls?" The answer to that question is that we no longer have a falls due to the fact that a power generating dam was built on the part of the Paint River where the falls was located.

The CFBA welcomes new members and provides support for its current members.  Our goal is to assist and promote the Crystal Falls area business community by networking with local agencies and working with the Forest Park Schools, the Planning Commission, the Township, and the Iron County Economic Chamber Alliance.

Yearly dues are $60 a year. (example: November 2017 - October 2018) The money from the dues is used for several things:

  • to periodically run 'Shop Local" ads on the radio and in the local paper for CFBA members
  • to host events which promote our community.
  • to pay for a CFBA website
  • to occasionally give funds to an organization which volunteers to assist the CFBA with one of its community events.

If you would like to become a part of our association please click on the membership form and mail it to CFBA, P.O. Box 233, Crystal Falls, MI  49920.

Next meeting - March 13, Tues., at 6:00 pm. at the Crystal Falls Library.
